Just got word from Steve Garrity, one of the project managers for Windows Live Search for Mobile that the beta version of Windows Live Search for Mobile has just been released for an open beta.

I’ve come to the conclusion that Marc Orchant, my traveling companion the NokiaWorld and OKGO trips, finds my gadget habit quite amusing.  This evening at dinner he snuck around behind me to grab a quick photo of the gear that I had on the table (which is only a small part of the armada of electronic devices and accessories that I bring on a trip that could last longer than three weeks. (although, truth be told I always carry an armada of gadgets.  Armada.  Good word.  Armful. Less good, but accurate word.

Changing Mobile Gaming Habits

A recent survey by Nokia has thrown up some information about the changing habits of mobile game players.The mobile phone gamers surveyed frequently play mobile games with the vast majority (80%) playing at least once a week and 34% playing every day. The average length of a session is 28 minutes with India (39 minutes), United States (31 minutes) and Thailand (29 minutes) playing longer than average.
