In the recent cell phone radiation chart conducted by CNet, T-Mobile Motorola v195 turned out to be the most radiation-intensive mobile phone available in the US market.

CNet uses a standard called Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) to measure the quantity of radiofrequency (RF) energy that is absorbed by the body. The ceiling to pass FCC certification is 1.6 SAR level - the exact level present in Motorola v195.



Although there’s no conclusive study to connect mobile phone radiation and cancer on human beings, elevated levels of SAR in the lab animals can cause cancer.



If you own this model, you may want to get a new model to avoid risking any health problems. You may want to look at the 10 U.S. phone models with the highest SARs first before buying a new one.

If iPhone has more than 1.6 SAR level, I bet it won’t matter for many mobile consumers. Right?
