Nokia’s N95 has been grabbing a lot of attention recently, with it’s world-wide debut a couple of days ago, however we have been remiss in not reading Nokia’s press site more regularly over the past few weeks and so missed it.



The new handset, pictured over there on the left, has a remarkable feature list that pushes the handset firmly into the territory of portable multimedia device (I’m going to stop just short of calling it a computer), including a media player and a 5 megapixel camera. The device also features TV Out, so recorded video and images can be replayed directly on a TV screen.



The handset has a 2.6″ QVGA screen, support for 3D graphics, and a double slider, with one side revealing the usual arrangement of a mobile phone number pad, and the other revealing controls for the media playback functions. There is also a standard 3.5mm headphone socket and support for microSD storage cards, as well as a miniUSB connector.



The N95 is primarily designed to work with HSDPA, although there is also support for WLAN, EDGE and WCDMA, and also includes an integrated GPS device. The new handset is expected to hit stores early next year.
